| Patch | Description | Author | Forwarded | Bugs | Origin | Last update |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| add_integrat.patch | Build 'integrat' as part of the default 'all' target Upstream excludes 'integrat' from 'all' since it needs the optional '-ljpl' library, which isn't guaranteed to be available for a plain upstream checkout. Debian's build-dep on libpluto-jpl-eph-dev makes that library always available at build time, so it is safe and useful to build 'integrat' by default here. diff --git a/makefile b/makefile index 0e66de6..17c9dbb 100644 |

| integrat-cppflags.patch | Fix integrat.o to use CPPFLAGS instead of a stale path integrat.o has its own explicit compile rule that hardcodes '-I $(INSTALL_DIR)/include', which expands to the non-existent '-I ~/include' (make doesn't do tilde-expansion), so it can't find watdefs.h even when it's correctly installed. Use $(CPPFLAGS) like every other compile rule instead. diff --git a/makefile b/makefile index 17c9dbb..a0c97f5 100644 |

| all_debian_build_flags.patch | Honor CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS in every link rule The makefile never referenced $(LDFLAGS) in most link rules, and several targets compile their .c/.cpp source directly in the link command instead of via the .cpp.o/.c.o rules that carry $(CPPFLAGS). Since -I/usr/include/pluto only comes from $(CPPFLAGS), those targets fail once they need a header from there, e.g.: . mpc2sof.cpp:22:10: fatal error: watdefs.h: No such file or directory . Add $(LDFLAGS) to every link rule and $(CPPFLAGS) wherever compilation happens, fixing all affected targets at once. diff --git a/makefile b/makefile index a0c97f5..16257af 100644 |

| no-date-time.patch | Drop __DATE__/__TIME__ from version banners astcheck.cpp, jpl2b32.cpp, jsattest.cpp, and integrat.cpp embed the build timestamp in a cosmetic version banner. -Wdate-time + -Werror turns that into a hard build failure: . astcheck.cpp:576:40: error: macro '__DATE__' might prevent reproducible builds [-Werror=date-time] . The timestamp isn't used for anything but display, so drop it rather than suppress the warning. The separate, legitimate runtime timestamps in jsattest.cpp/integrat.cpp are unaffected. diff --git a/astcheck.cpp b/astcheck.cpp index 71b0f30..d5e6f25 100644 |

| no-stale-watdefs-refs.patch | Drop stale watdefs.h references from the makefile watdefs.h was removed from this source tree in 2018 in favour of the jpl_eph dependency, but five targets still list it as a literal make prerequisite, and install/uninstall still reference a local copy. make requires every prerequisite to exist or be buildable, so this fails before the compiler ever runs: . make[1]: *** No rule to make target 'watdefs.h', needed by 'mpc2sof'. Stop. . Drop it from the prerequisite lists (compilation already finds the real header via -I) and from install/uninstall. diff --git a/makefile b/makefile index 16257af..22e4d8a 100644 |

| jpl-url-library-dependency.patch | Declare jpl_url's library dependency for parallel builds jpl_url links against liblunar.a, so make must finish building the library before linking the executable. |
