| Use_BTreeMap_for_deterministic_cfg_target_order.patch | Use BTreeMap for deterministic cfg target order best_targets is a HashMap, whose per-process getrandom seed randomizes the order of both iter() -> skips and keys() -> specified_arches. Those orderings are spliced into the generated #[cfg(...)] predicates, so the expanded tokens (and therefore the consuming crate's SVH / crate metadata hash) change on every build. This is the proc-macro non-determinism class of rust-lang/rust#89904. Switching best_targets to a BTreeMap (the key is &str, which is Ord) makes both orderings deterministic. The generated cfg predicates are equivalent, so there is no behavior change; only the token order is stabilized. |
