| strip-jdk5-version.patch | Strip the -jdk5 suffix from the project version Upstream creates its release tag between the two versions:set invocations of its publication pipeline (see .github/workflows/main.yml), so the tagged tree carries the version of the Java 5 baseline variant. Maven Central also hosts an unsuffixed artifact built from the same sources with a Java 8 baseline, and that is the one Debian produces, since debian/maven.properties sets maven.compiler.release=8. Restore the matching version. . This has to be a patch rather than a sed in debian/rules: mh_patchpoms saves the pristine poms and mh_install derives the installed coordinates from those copies, so a change made after dh_auto_configure is invisible to maven-repo-helper, while a change made before it would survive mh_unpatchpoms and leave the tree dirty. |
