fix-python3-tweaks.patch	Fix Python 3 incompatibilities in the font tweak scripts The scripts run by the sfd Makefile to adjust the generated fonts (set_isFixedPitch, correct_fsSelection and their support modules in tools/generate/tweeks) still contained Python 2 idioms and raised exceptions under Python 3. This went unnoticed for a long time because the make output is piped through "tail", which masked the non-zero exit status of the failing commands. . Fixes: * OpenType/table.py: namedtuple instances have no __dict__, use the namedtuple API (_fields, getattr, _replace) instead. * OpenType/checksum.py: indexing a bytes object yields int on Python 3, so do not call ord() on the result. * OpenType/typeutils.py: panose_str() now handles a bytes value. * set_isFixedPitch.py: exit successfully for non-monospaced faces (the tweak does not apply to them), and write the font buffer as bytes. * correct_fsSelection.py: write the font buffer as bytes. * use a python3 shebang; the unversioned "python" interpreter is not installed in the build environment.
