| appstream-id-consistency.patch | Align desktop/metainfo filenames with the AppStream component ID The metainfo file declares the component id cz.zeropage.Formiko and its <launchable> element points to cz.zeropage.Formiko.desktop, but the shipped files are still named formiko.desktop and formiko.metainfo.xml. Per current GNOME/freedesktop AppStream conventions the desktop entry and metainfo basenames must match the component id, in *every* distribution channel (native package or Flatpak alike) so that desktop environments can correctly associate and deduplicate the launcher. This also fixes two screenshot URLs that were using plain http://. Reported upstream: https://github.com/ondratu/formiko/issues |

| pynvim-optional-import.patch | Do not crash on startup when python3-pynvim is not installed formiko/__main__.py always tries gi.require_version("Vte", "3.91"), which succeeds whenever the gir1.2-vte-3.91 typelib is installed (a Recommends of the formiko package, so installed by default). Because document_page.py only checked gi.get_required_version("Vte") before importing formiko.vim, and formiko.vim imports pynvim unconditionally, formiko fails to start with "ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pynvim'" on any system that has the formiko package installed without formiko-vim (which is the only package depending on python3-pynvim since the formiko-vim split). Catch the missing-pynvim case and treat Vim editor support as simply unavailable, the same way it already behaves when Vte itself is missing. |
