upstream/fix_exit.patch Close the window properly on exit
On exit the window was only minimized before SDL_Quit(), a leftover
from the SDL 1 port (SDL_WM_IconifyWindow). Leave fullscreen first so
the desktop video mode is restored, then delete the GL context and
destroy the window before shutting SDL down.

upstream/7634df73a20e608cc8b28c6a1e8c8c45be2bb17b.patch Pass the list size to listfiles() and keep 32 datapacks
Instead of enlarging known_datapacks, let listfiles() know how many
entries the list holds. It now stores at most maxfiles-1 names plus the
terminating empty entry. This also fixes the Linux version having no
limit at all and the Windows version writing the terminator one past
the end of a 1024 entry list.

0002-data-path.patch install data files under /usr/share/games not-needed vendor
fix-build-hurd.patch Fix FTBFS on GNU/Hurd not-needed Debian
upstream/fix_build.patch Fix build on Linux and with GCC 14+
The Linux build has been broken since f6c4b15 and 11b0185, which used
the MSVC-only MAX_PATH and sprintf_s. Replace them with PATH_MAX and
snprintf.

GCC 14 turned implicit function declarations and incompatible pointer
types into errors, so add the missing includes and the missing
loadwavs() prototype, and pass the preset name buffers to
optionreadstring() directly instead of their address.

Also enlarge known_datapacks to the 1024 entries listfiles() may write,
it was only 32 entries long and overflowed the stack with many
datapack directories.

upstream/fix_crash_on_startup.patch Fix crash on startup due to unset menu controls
Since f6c4b15 control[0] is no longer given default keys in
loadconfig() and keeps -1 until bind_presets_to_controls() is called
when a game starts. The menus read control[0] before that, and as
keyboardkey is an unsigned enum, keyboard[-1] reads far out of bounds
and crashes in checkmenuitems() on the intro screen.

Use SDL_SCANCODE_UNKNOWN instead of -1 for unbound keys, which is a
valid index that is never pressed (joystick presets had the same
problem), and bind the default keyboard preset to control[0] after the
config is loaded so the menus can be navigated with the arrow keys
again.
