| input-settings-handle-custom-accel-profile.patch | input-settings: handle custom accel profile gsettings-desktop-schemas 51.rc added the custom pointer acceleration profile. Building against it fails because G_DESKTOP_POINTER_ACCEL_PROFILE_CUSTOM is not handled in the switch in set_accel_profile (-Werror=switch-enum). Custom acceleration curves are not supported here, so keep the device default profile. mutter's X11 backend also falls back to the default profile for this value. | shell-implement-org.gnome.Shell.Brightness.patch | shell: implement org.gnome.Shell.Brightness Since version 49, gnome-settings-daemon no longer changes the backlight. The shell owns the display brightness: gsd-power only tells it to dim the screen when idle and passes on the target of the ambient light sensor, through org.gnome.Shell.Brightness. Settings shows the dimming and automatic brightness options only when that interface reports HasBrightnessControl. Nothing provided the interface in GNOME Flashback, so idle dimming and automatic brightness stopped working. Add GfShellBrightness, based on GNOME Shell's brightness manager. It keeps a brightness for each monitor with a backlight, follows the dimming and automatic brightness requests and exports org.gnome.Shell.Brightness. As in mutter's X11 backend, the backlight is the sysfs backlight that belongs to the monitor, set through logind's SetBrightness, or the RandR Backlight property if there is no such device. The modesetting driver has no Backlight property, so most systems need the sysfs backlight. Also export org.gnome.Flashback.Brightness on the same object. It has methods to step the brightness, which show the OSD, and a Brightness property for applets. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-flashback/-/issues/106 (cherry picked from commit 5c2337d5bc8be0f7b50d1c6b0db2c02fb06a5d4e) |

| media-keys-handle-the-screen-brightness-keys.patch | media-keys: handle the screen brightness keys gnome-settings-daemon 49 removed the screen brightness keys, as GNOME Shell now handles them. In GNOME Flashback the brightness keys did nothing. Add the screen-brightness-up, -down and -cycle keybindings, and their -monitor variants for the monitor under the pointer, with GNOME Shell's defaults. They are grabbed in all action modes and call org.gnome.Flashback.Brightness. GTK 3 does not know the XF86MonBrightnessCycle keysym, so the cycle keybindings have no default. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-flashback/-/issues/106 (cherry picked from commit 60e5894cb9d384c06bd1de1ef9ad1e9b5e18226c) |
