| 0001-drop-json-round-trip-test.patch | Drop the JSON round-trip test pkg/derivation/json_test.go is the only file in the tree importing github.com/nsf/jsondiff, which is not packaged in Debian. Because it lives in the same package as the other derivation tests, its absent import stops the whole test binary from building and takes the rest of the package's tests down with it. . Removing just this file keeps derivation_test.go and the other packages' tests running. | 0002-use-badger-v4.patch | Use badger v4, the version Debian carries pkg/derivation/store imports github.com/dgraph-io/badger/v3. Debian has badger 4.x and no v3, and the two are separate module paths, so the packaged library does not satisfy the v3 import. The API this file uses -- Open, DefaultOptions, WithLoggingLevel, WithInMemory, DB, Txn, NewEntry, SetEntry, ErrKeyNotFound, DefaultIteratorOptions -- is unchanged between v3 and v4, so the bump is the import line and the go.mod require. . The indirect pins badger v3 dragged in go with it: they name versions, and in one case a module path (ristretto v1), that Debian does not ship. badger v4 declares its own graph. =================================================================== |
