| 0001-Link-against-libsharp-and-libcfitsio.patch | Link against libsharp and libcfitsio libhealpix uses symbols from libsharp and libcfitsio, but the library rule in src/f90/mod/Makefile does not link against them. In upstream's optional shared library mode (configure sets AR to "$(FC) -fPIC -shared -o "), which debian/rules mimics, the resulting libhealpix.so is not linked against the libraries it depends on: it lacks DT_NEEDED entries for libsharp and libcfitsio, programs linking only with -lhealpix fail with undefined references, and dpkg-shlibdeps cannot generate the corresponding package dependencies. This patch is specific to the way Debian builds the shared library and must not be forwarded as is: in upstream's default static mode AR is "ar -rsv", which rejects the -l arguments. |

| 0002-Add-missing-Makefile-dependencies.patch | Add missing Makefile dependencies alm_tools.F90 uses the healpix_sharp_f90 module, but nothing ensured that healpix_sharp_f90.o (and therefore healpix_sharp_f90.mod) was built before alm_tools.o. The build thus only succeeded thanks to the order of prerequisites in $(obj), and failed with make --shuffle=reverse or with some parallel builds: Fatal Error: Cannot open module file 'healpix_sharp_f90.mod' for reading Also make the creation of the build directory an order-only prerequisite of every object instead of relying on the order of prerequisites of 'all'. |
