| Stop-clearing-heat_plugin-auth_url-when-listing-tests.patch | Stop clearing heat_plugin auth_url when listing tests The load_tests() hook of the gabbi API test module pre-flights the heat_plugin configuration at test-listing time and, on a Keystone authentication failure, clears conf.auth_url on the global configuration. That configuration object is shared process-wide, and stestr discovery imports every test module in every worker, so a single listing-time failure (wrong password, transient network error, missing catalog entry) permanently disables the whole heat test suite: every test then fails with "No auth_url configured" instead of reporting its real authentication error. . Keep the pre-flight check and its warning log, but stop mutating the global configuration so tests can report their actual errors. diff --git a/heat_tempest_plugin/tests/api/test_heat_api.py b/heat_tempest_plugin/tests/api/test_heat_api.py index 7f7af0d..72eac4d 100644 |

| Set-OS_TOKEN-when-listing-tests.patch | Set OS_TOKEN when listing tests The gabbi yaml files of this plugin use $ENVIRON['OS_TOKEN'] in their requests. Normally the OS_TOKEN environment variable is set by the suite-level AuthenticationFixture which each yaml file declares, and which gabbi runs when executing the suite. . Test runners that flatten test suites before executing them, such as stestr's dynamic scheduler (--dynamic), never run the GabbiSuite's fixture list. In that case every request fails with a KeyError on OS_TOKEN while doing the template replacement. Fix this by also setting the environment variable in the load_tests() hook, which every worker runs at test listing time, before any test is executed. =================================================================== |
