Status for hexwalk/2.2.1+ds-1
| Patch | Description | Author | Forwarded | Bugs | Origin | Last update |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| use-system-capstone.patch | Build against the system Capstone library Add a HEXWALK_USE_SYSTEM_CAPSTONE option that links the packaged libcapstone found through pkg-config instead of the in-tree copy, which is removed from the Debian source package. The option defaults to OFF so the Windows, macOS and AppImage builds keep using the bundled copy. |

| use-system-cjson.patch | Build hexdig against the system cJSON library Add a HEXDIG_USE_SYSTEM_CJSON option that leaves the in-tree cJSON.c out of the build and links the packaged libcjson found through pkg-config. The in-tree copy is removed from the Debian source package, so the cJSON.h that printer.cpp includes resolves to the system header through the libcjson pkg-config flags. The option defaults to OFF. |

| use-system-fonts.patch | Use the packaged Roboto font instead of the bundled copies The Roboto and Courier Prime font files are removed from the Debian source package, so drop them from the Qt resource file. main.cpp registers them with QFontDatabase::addApplicationFont(), which fails silently for a missing resource, and then asks for the "Roboto" family by name, which fontconfig resolves to fonts-roboto. The bundled Courier Prime registers as the "Courier Prime" family, which the code never asks for (it asks for "Courier"), so dropping it does not change what the hex view displays. |
