| avoid_relative_load_from_spec.patch | the spec_helper file uses a relative path to load from lib/ autopkgtest is failing since one file in the spec/ directory, spec_helper.rb, is loading the jgrep code with a relative directory from lib. During the CI job, the lib/ directory is not present anymore and thus the tests fail. The spec_helper file should require the code without the relative path. |

| drop-json-create-id.patch | Drop JSON.create_id= for ruby-json 3 JSON.create_id= disabled the json_class addition hook. ruby-json 3 removed that setter together with create_additions, and JSON.parse no longer instantiates classes from documents. The assignment raises NoMethodError. |
