| 0001-Drop-the-hatch-docstring-description-metadata-hook.patch | Drop the hatch-docstring-description metadata hook The build-system requires hatch-docstring-description, a Hatchling plugin that generates the project description from a module docstring. Debian builds Python packages with --no-isolation (offline), so this PyPI-only plugin is unavailable in the build environment and hatchling aborts with "UnknownPluginError: Unknown metadata hook: docstring-description". Replace the hook-generated description with a static one so the wheel builds without network access. This only affects build-time metadata and has no effect on the runtime behaviour of the installed package. |
