| ts6-build.patch | build the declarations with TypeScript 6 resources/build-npm.js feeds the raw JSON "compilerOptions" straight to ts.createProgram. TypeScript 6 rejects that ("target is a string value; tsconfig JSON must be parsed ... before passing to createProgram"), so run them through ts.convertCompilerOptionsFromJson first, exactly as tsc does when it reads a tsconfig. That conversion resolves the path options to absolute ones, and tsc 6 will not mix absolute and relative paths, so the declarationDir and the root file have to be absolute too. It also wants the common source directory spelled out (TS5011) -- and, because there is no config file here, crashes rather than reporting it -- so pass an explicit rootDir. . "importsNotUsedAsValues" was removed in TypeScript 6 (TS5102). It only made tsc complain about type imports not spelled "import type"; nothing is emitted from this config -- the JavaScript comes from babel and only the declarations come from tsc -- so dropping it changes no shipped file. |
