Patch Description Author Forwarded Bugs Origin Last update
0001-buffer-based-stream.patch Add support for buffer-based stream (see https://github.com/uclouvain/openjpeg/pull/1212) Calixte Denizet <calixte.denizet@gmail.com> not-needed upstream, https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js.openjpeg 2024-04-14
0002-enable-exception-support.patch Enable exception support so that the link step succeeds not-needed vendor, https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js.openjpeg
0003-build-library-only.patch Build only the library, not the command-line tools openjpeg's CODEC executables need the libpng/libtiff/lcms2 copies under
thirdparty/, which this package does not ship; the wasm build only needs
libopenjp2. Turning BUILD_CODEC off drops both the tools and those
third-party subdirectories from the configuration step. src/bin is moved
out of the BUILD_CODEC conditional: it generates opj_apps_config.h, which
compile.sh needs because it compiles convert.c and color.c directly.

0004-use-script-name-for-wasm.patch Use _scriptName instead of import.meta.url to find openjpeg.wasm Emscripten writes new URL("openjpeg.wasm", import.meta.url) into the generated
glue. pdf.js builds this glue with webpack and its gulpfile rejects any
bundled module that still contains that expression, so the bundle fails to
build. _scriptName is the very same value -- Emscripten sets it to
import.meta.url at the top of the file -- and is what the rest of the
preamble already uses, so the behaviour is unchanged.
