| fix-big-endian-bitpack-decode.patch | Fix big-endian bitpack decoding in segment compression The compressed posting-list bitstream is defined little-endian (LSB-first), but bitpack_extract() read it back through a native-endian 64-bit load. On big-endian targets such as s390x every decoded doc-id delta and frequency was therefore wrong, and the compression self-test aborted on its first assertion (compression_test.c: postings[i].doc_id == previous). . Byte-swap the loaded window on WORDS_BIGENDIAN platforms. |
