Use-custom-fact-to-fetch-device-s-UUID.patch | Use custom fact to fetch device's UUID Since facter is too dumb to fetch the device's UUID, let's use a custom facter fact to fetch it. diff --git a/facts.d/swift_blockdevs_names_to_uuid.sh b/facts.d/swift_blockdevs_names_to_uuid.sh new file mode 100644 index 0000000..c31b2cc |

check-for-commented-out-drives-in-fstab.patch | Check for commented out drives in fstab If a drive is present in /etc/fstab, then nothing is done, instead of constantly adding an entry and remounting it. . This is particularly useful, because if a drive is detected as broken by swift, it will umount it, and comment the entry in fstab. As a result, without this patch, every time the puppet-swift does a run, broken drives are remounted. |
