| simplify_setup_py.patch | Use fixed extension name and let pybuild/dh-python handle SOABI Upstream setup.py hardcodes the Python version into the extension soname (_pysvn_X_Y.so) and dynamically modifies __init__.py. In Debian, pybuild and dh-python manage multiple Python 3 versions and extension naming with standard SOABI tags. Pass --fixed-module-name to Source/setup.py configure, and name the extension _pysvn so setuptools and pybuild install it with the proper ABI tag. |
