| 1001-build-tests-by-default.patch | Build unit tests in the (verbose) build phase Build the unit test executable also in the default build target. By default meson only builds it from the test phase ("meson test"), which runs an internal, non-verbose ninja step. blhc therefore reports "NONVERBOSE BUILD" / W-compiler-flags-hidden for all test objects and cannot check the hardening flags of those compile commands (exit code 4). Building the tests in the regular build phase (debhelper runs "ninja -v") keeps the whole build log verbose, so blhc passes. Debian always builds and runs the tests anyway (dh_auto_test), so this does not change the resulting artifacts. |
