Debian Patches

Status for rust-simd-json/0.18.1-1

Patch Description Author Forwarded Bugs Origin Last update
disable-unavailable-targets.patch Disable unavailable instrumentation and targets with omitted data The hints feature requires nightly core_intrinsics. The perf example and
benchmark allocator require unpackaged perfcnt and jemallocator crates.
The crate archive excludes data/, which is needed by the jsonchecker and
allocation tests and the benchmarks. Remove only those test targets, keeping
the self-contained parser, Serde, depth and regression tests.

relax-float-cmp.patch Use the float-cmp version available in Debian The tests use comparison macros that are also available in float-cmp 0.9. Steffen Moeller <moeller@debian.org> not-needed 2026-09-12
test-feature-combinations.patch Limit round-trip tests to compatible feature combinations With 128bit enabled, a value below i64::MIN is an i128 rather than a float,
and serde_json::Value cannot represent that value. Approximate number parsing
combined with ordered-float also cannot promise exact floating-point
round-trips. Keep these tests enabled for the configurations they support.

fix-approx-without-swar.patch Gate SWAR imports in the approximate number parser The functions and their call sites are conditional on swar-number-parsing,
but the imports were unconditional. Match the correct number parser so
approx-number-parsing builds without the default features.

fix-serde-feature-gate.patch Gate tape deserialization on the Serde implementation feature Enabling the optional serde dependency alone does not implement the Serde
Deserializer trait. Gate the method on serde_impl, like the implementation
it calls, so the dependency-only feature also compiles.
