comparison-timeout-and-progress.patch Compare snapshots asynchronously and show progress snapperd walks both snapshots before CreateComparison replies. On a range
spanning a week or more that takes minutes, so the blocking call hit the
25 second D-Bus default reply timeout and died with an unhandled
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply, leaving an empty, frozen window.

Call CreateComparison asynchronously with a 600 second timeout. While it
runs, show a spinner and "Please wait... N seconds elapsed out of 600" in
the status bar. If the comparison fails, say so in the status bar instead

gtksourceview4.patch Port from GtkSourceView 3 to GtkSourceView 4 GtkSourceView 3 is deprecated and due to leave Debian. Version 4 still
targets GTK 3, so the only API break is the draw-spaces property, which
version 4 removed; Gtk.Builder refuses the glade file while it is there.
Drop it and set the same thing through GtkSourceSpaceDrawer: tabs and
